The Avanti is engineered to be a fuel efficient, full featured, luxurious, easy-to-drive Class A motorhome by combining a sleek, low-to-the-ground aerodynamic design and a yacht-like interior. The Avanti achieves up to 70 percent better fuel economy than comparable Class A motorhomes.
Don’t be intimidated when it comes to driving a class A coach. The Avanti is nearly 12 inches closer to the ground than most other Class A motorhomes and six inches narrower. The low center of gravity, combined with the excellent ride and handling provided by its new world class Freightliner MC-L chassis and its aerodynamic front makes it the easiest to drive Class A on the market.
Interior
Avanti is not only a truly-livable coach, but it sets its self apart with a gorgeous contemporary design thanks to curved cabinetry, elegant fabrics and SMEV Italian appliances.
Chassis
The new 2011 Freightliner MC-L chassis, designed with low-profile frame rails, sits lower to the ground which enhances aerodynamics and ride quality. Powered by the Cummins ISB 6.7-liter engine with 200 hp and 520 ft-lb. of torque. This configuration provides an excellent balance of power and is up to 70% more fuel efficiency than comparable gas engines. Increased dampening in the design of the engine, combined with the double insulated engine cover, restricts road and engine noise creating a more comfortable travel environment.
